Photography Editor / Photographer

As the photography editor / photographer for the Reveille, I was responsible for acquiring and delivering the photographs for the yearbook.  This was an incredible job full of memories that I will remember for years to come.  Shooting sports, campus life, organizations, portraits, and events were all part of the scope of my work.  I received press passes to photograph football, basketball, and baseball games from the sidelines.  It goes without saying that this was a very demanding position. Consequently, balancing it along with my course work in mechanical engineering proved to be a severe challenge.  Proudly, I can say that I did it!  Please visit my portfolio where you will find a variety of shots that I took while working for the Reveille.

Organizations Section Editor

When I first joined the Reveille staff, I was a section editor for the Organizations section of the yearbook. Under this position, I was responsible for constructing the 100 or so pages for the many organizations that paid to be included in the yearbook.  Since these pages were purchased, a great deal of customer relations came into play.  You only had one chance to get the customer's requests right.  So, communication and accurate record keeping were of paramount importance.  Staff relations was a key issue as it took all of us working together as a team to get these pages completed and in to the publisher in New York by the deadlines. With this job, there were many late nights spent constructing pages from last-minute submissions just prior to the deadline.
