As a field cameraman for News Channel 20, I worked directly with the news anchors and reporters to cover their stories.  Breaking news, local news, and sports were included in my job role.  This encompassed everything from severe weather, to auto accidents, to domestic violence, to political press conferences, to local basketball games.  In cases where a story was to be covered but all of the reporters and anchors were involved with other issues, I performed one-man-band style interviews and gathered scene footage to construct stories.

       At the station, I edited video segments for broadcast on the 10:00 PM news.  This included VO's, SOT's, PKG's and tease segments using a linear editing system (i.e. 2 sony vcr's).  Additionally, I edited news and sports footage when there was an urgent time crunch.
